- ➤ Partners Resource Network will host a free special education conference on Saturday, Jan. 31 at Region 9 Education Service Center (301 TX-11 Loop) from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The event will offer expert workshops, exhibitors, childcare and a virtual option to help parents and educators navigate the ARD process. - ➤ The City of Wichita Falls Office of Emergency Management will host storm spotter training Saturday, Feb. 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Room 1 of the Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall — the program, run with the National Weather Service, Wichita County Office of Emergency Management, and Wichita County SKYWARN, will cover thunderstorm basics and severe weather reporting.
