EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ WFISD is expanding its book vending machine program from two schools to all 14 elementary schools with a $99,900 investment and support from Atmos Energy. The district expects to install the machines before the end of the school year so students can earn tokens and select a book to keep. News Channel 6
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Construction of the new United Regional Imaging Center began on Jan. 15 (53,000 sqft) at Twelfth and Alma streets in Wichita Falls. Heavy equipment and cement trucks are on site as crews advance work on the two-story building. Times Record News
