- ➤ Big Brothers Big Sisters of Wichita County hosted its 2nd annual March Matchness tournament featuring 11 teams including Channel 6’s Net Rippers. The event raised $3,000 to support local mentoring programs. News Channel 6
- ➤ During a cross-country move from Colorado to Florida, the Santos family lost one dog when she slipped her harness at a Wichita Falls service station, and community members + neighbors helped reunite her with her relieved owners a week later. News Channel 6
- ➤ The Major Francis Grice Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will host a Vietnam Veterans Day ceremony on March 29 (at Veterans Memorial Plaza at Lake Wichita) from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Instructors, JROTC students and Patriot Guards will assist in recognizing all eligible veterans.
