- ➤ Wichita County residents may receive a test emergency alert message on April 2 between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. as part of a statewide drill coordinated by the Texas Division of Emergency Management (Judge Jim Johnson explained no action is required). Times Record News
- ➤ The City of Seymour issued a boil order today for parts of its area due to system maintenance. Affected water customers must boil tap water for two minutes for drinking, cooking, ice, or brushing teeth — schools and hospitals are not included while some Housing Authority apartments are impacted. - ➤ The Wichita Falls Economic Development Corp. will review proposals from companies at 2:30 p.m. today in Room 6 of the Multi-Purpose Events Center on 1000 Fifth Street, including a performance agreement change for Magic Aire’s acquisition by Kingspan Data Solutions + a WPT Power expansion + an Aerospace N3xt incentive.
