- ➤ Acting Texas Comptroller Kelly Hancock said March sales tax revenue reached $4 billion, a 10% increase from last March and matching February figures, while business sectors such as retail trade, wholesale, construction and mining saw robust gains. News Channel 6
- ➤ Planned dredging of Lake Wichita is delayed by funding issues following a government shutdown that halted new USACE projects, postponing boating and kayak access improvements on the east side (for Lakeside City residents).
