  • On Thursday, April 2, Wichita Falls citizens and city council kept the After Hours Artwalk alive after the development group stopped hosting it, drawing thousands to 7th and 8th Streets for art, music, and food. The series will occur on the first Thursday every month through October — except July.  News Channel 6
  • The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders will visit Kay Yeager Coliseum on Friday, Apr. 17 at 7 p.m. as part of their Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Live! tour, where they will host live auditions and Q&A sessions to inspire local fans interested in joining the team.  News Channel 6

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Gas prices in Texas have risen to an average of $3.80 per gallon—19 cents more than last week and 96 cents above last year—as global tensions push up oil costs, AAA Texas reported on April 2. Drivers may see further increases as market instability continues.  News Channel 6
