- ➤ Wichita Falls Police arrested Elmondo Leunsay Gildon, 44, on five counts of unlawful possession of a firearm during a SWAT raid on his North Oriole Street home on Wednesday—his arrest is linked to an ongoing murder investigation in which three women were charged with perjury and later released on bail while Gildon remains in custody with a total bond of $2.25 million. - ➤ Wichita Falls Area Crime Stoppers updated the Texoma’s Most Wanted List with five new suspects—Jared Backus charged with possession of a controlled substance, Tammie Bible charged with possession of a controlled substance, Jose Coronado-Gonzalez charged with deadly conduct, Raymond Figueroa charged with burglary of habitation, and Armesha Jackson charged with possession of a controlled substance. - ➤ On Tuesday, the Wichita Falls City Council will meet at 8:30 a.m. in the Seminar Room at the MPEC to vote on annexing 33 acres on Randy Drive for future data centers and a gas power plant. The council will also discuss buying a vacuum truck for sewer cleaning—upgrading airport parking gates, adopting a neighborhood revitalization plan, setting standards for the summer day camp and acquiring two new GMC pickups.
