- ➤ After hail storms on April 4 and April 5 damaged local irises, the Benson Iris Society postponed its annual show to April 26. The event will take place at Trinity United Methodist Church from 1:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. — and the society will offer both bare-rooted and potted irises for sale to the public. Times Record News

- ➤ River Bend Nature Center now has a new greenhouse built with a $7,000 grant and help from Home Depot workers who assembled it by the Butterfly and Nature Conservatory—renovations at the center will finish around the beginning of summer. Texoma's Homepage
