- ➤ A popular Wichita Falls beef jerky shop closed permanently as its website went offline—its phone recording confirmed the shop no longer operates. - ➤ Texoma lake levels dropped slightly this week — Lake Arrowhead decreased to 67.8% while Lake Kickapoo held at 67.6%, reducing their combined level by 0.1% to 67.8%. - ➤ Wichita Falls City Council on Tuesday annexed 33 acres on Randy Drive for light industrial use—this move may allow construction of two 125,000 square-foot data center warehouses and a gas power plant on land deeded from the Chamber of Commerce to KBD WF LLC on January 30. Councilors also adopted the 'Heart of the Falls' revitalization plan for older central neighborhoods and approved spending for a vacuum truck, a new airport parking gate system, summer day camp standards, and two GMC pickups.
