- ➤ Cleanup is underway at Wheels of Wonder Museum's warehouse after large hail damaged the roof and hundreds of boxes, delaying the open house originally set for Thursday 6-8 p.m. in Burkburnett - officials have not announced a new date. Times Record News
- ➤ Hospice of Wichita Falls hosts its Friends of Hospice Golf Benefit where over 250 golfers from 12 counties help raise about $100,000 each year to support community hospice care. The benefit has funded care for nearly 40 years and will be followed by a Glow Golf event in October. News Channel 6

- ➤ A new Mexican grocery store opened Monday at 3906 Jacksboro Highway in a revamped Family Dollar building. It offers fresh meats, produce & deli items along with a small bakery following a successful trial opening Sunday and will host a grand opening event in a few weeks. Times Record News

- ➤ City officials announced today that Wichita Falls’ free Outdoor Concert Series will return on Tuesday, May 12 at Bud Daniel Park from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Music fans are invited to bring a chair or blanket and enjoy a mix of funk, pop, R&B and hip-hop. News Channel 6

- ➤ The Eta Aquarids meteor shower will peak tonight and tomorrow as Texans may see 10 to 50 meteors per hour if skies remain clear. A bright waning gibbous moon may lessen the display. Times Record News

- ➤ Midwestern State celebrated Senior Day with a doubleheader win over Sul Ross State, winning 8-0 in Game 1 and 4-3 in Game 2. The Mustangs will face Western New Mexico in their regular-season finale on Monday. News Channel 6
