- ➤ Wichita Falls ISD will offer free breakfast and lunch to students 18 and under through the Summer Food Service Program starting June 2—no paperwork is needed to receive meals. The program operates at Legacy High School until June 12 and at Scotland Park, Jefferson, Booker T. Washington, and Southern Hills Elementary until July 25 with set breakfast and lunch times. - ➤ On Monday, lake levels at Arrowhead and Kickapoo dropped 0.4% to 96.9 after three weeks of rain replenished the reservoirs—city data showed no official precipitation despite reports of light showers. The Wichita Falls City Council will meet today at 8:30 a.m. in the MPEC Seminar Room to consider lifting water use restrictions while the National Weather Service warned of possible thunderstorms with a risk of severe storms east of town.
