  • Police arrested Wichita Falls man Kaden Chase Williams on Monday, May 26 after a tip led officers to his motel and later to him on Brook Avenue—he resisted arrest and is charged with resisting and evading while bonds total $24,500.  Texoma's Homepage
  • Jeffrey Kole McCormick, an Iowa Park man convicted of child sex crimes against children, was sentenced yesterday to maximum penalties with 20 years for three counts of indecency by contact and 10 years for one count of indecency by exposure (each count carrying a $10,000 fine) to be served consecutively by a Wichita County jury.  Texoma's Homepage
  • A Wichita County jury took one hour Tuesday to find Anthony Micheal Kienlen guilty of attempted capital murder of a peace officer (after he pleaded guilty to 15 counts of aggravated assault) during a domestic dispute that led his wife to call 911.  Times Record News

  • Wichita Falls' Lake Kickapoo reached full capacity as the two primary reservoirs rose by 0.5% to 97.4% capacity over the past week. The city said any overflow from Kickapoo will feed into Arrowhead + the National Weather Service predicts rain until Thursday, with Memorial Day weekend precipitation bringing the total to 17.23 inches.  Times Record News
