  • The Wichita County Buddy Walk will return to Garnett Field in October with a walk, games, and food that promote inclusion for those with Down syndrome and is the largest event of its kind within 100 miles. CRIME NEWS

  • A Wichita Falls man on parole was arrested after he allegedly robbed a restaurant on Denver Street—taking five pieces of chicken when cash was not given—and later held a convenience store clerk at gunpoint to get $96, and he now faces aggravated robbery charges with a $1 million bond.  Times Record News
  • A Wichita County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested Justice Zimmer after spotting him riding a scooter late on June 26 in a high drug trafficking area—officers found methamphetamine, a knife, and bullets during the stop, and he was booked into jail with total bail set at $35,000.  Texoma's Homepage
  • A Wichita Falls man was arrested on June 25th for assaulting his pregnant girlfriend during a domestic altercation on the 4700 block of Hollandale Avenue—police say he threw food and poured a drink on her head, and he is now held in jail on a $5,000 bond.  Texoma's Homepage

  • The next Evening of Improv show will bring a live, unscripted comedy performance to the Backdoor Theatre main stage and tickets cost $12 each. Theatre staff urge guests to arrive early because unclaimed tickets will be resold at 7:25 p.m. for 7:30 p.m. shows—upcoming dates include June 28, September 13 and October 31.  Texoma's Homepage
