- ➤ Two Wichita Falls Boy Scouts (Troop 11) rescued a pregnant woman and her two toddlers from heat exhaustion at Caprock Canyon State Park during dangerous 105-degree heat. They revived the family by providing water, electrolytes and snacks while their action earned them the National Certificate of Merit (awarded to roughly 2,000 Scouts nationwide in the past 60 years).
