Texoma father Chet Ingram honored his fallen son, Navy SEAL Nathan Gage Ingram—lost at sea off the coast of Somalia while saving a teammate—by establishing the Nathan G.
Ingram Foundation to support military families. He said his mission is to keep his son's memory alive through heartfelt programs.
The local nonprofit 804 Incorporated is hosting a free raffle to help students get supplies for school—entrants can sign up on Facebook and winners will be announced August 10.
Boys and Girls Clubs across Wichita Falls ended summer programming on August 1st and will close from August 3rd to August 14th as they prepare for the school year.

The pecan tree (150 years old), claimed by the Comanche Nation in 2017 to mark water sources, has drawn comments from Comanche elder Phyllis Narkomi and expert Steve Houser on its unusual shape.
