ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A Dumas woman, Madeleine Blanco-Garcia, died when the 2015 Ford Edge she was riding in veered off U.S. Highway 287 nearly 8 miles west of Wichita Falls on Wednesday night around 8:25 p.m.—the accident occurred when the vehicle struck equipment on an unoccupied Kenworth truck and officers closed the highway while working the wreck.  Times Record News

  • Final Touch Tattoo is addressing concerns about its planned tattoo shop at Sheppard Air Force Base by saying that the base's contracting officer reached out to several shops before the company posted a job ad—hoping to offer part-time work. The company noted that four local artists and shops objected and said it will open the new location in mid-September while remaining open to further dialogue.  News Channel 6

  • Legacy High School is back in session today—seniors gathered for a Senior Sunrise while new principal Dr. Peter Braveboy encouraged students to learn well and build strong friendships.
