- ➤ The Wichita Falls Area Community Foundation has moved its offices to a new building at 2633 Plaza Parkway—behind Vernon College's Century City location. The move, made possible by fundholders, dedicated donors, and its partnership with Prosperity Bank, will expand giving opportunities and support for local nonprofits. Times Record News
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The U.S. Navy will bring a mixed reality experience to WFISD students — a program that introduces new ways to explore technology in the classroom. News Channel 6
- ➤ Wichita Falls ISD students visited the Career and Education Center to try the Strike Group, a mobile mixed-reality experience that lets them explore Navy Life. Commanding Officer Tyree Barnes said the program helps students learn about a Navy career and will be available through the end of tomorrow. News Channel 6
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ WFISD CEC will host a Navy Week event where a naval strike group will showcase its operations for local residents to learn more about naval capabilities (event details are available locally). News Channel 6
- ➤ The Falls in Wichita Falls turned back on Tuesday after crews finished cleaning, maintenance, and evaluations faster than expected — the trail remained closed for crew safety during the work. Times Record News
