- ➤ The bronze historical marker honoring pioneer John Hart Wilson was moved to Wichita Clutch in the Wichita Falls Business Park from its previous site at 4015 Lake Park Drive after being retrieved by the local historical commission in May—state authorities approved the relocation. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Wichita County Judge Jim Johnson announced Tuesday at the commissioner’s court meeting that he will not seek re-election and will serve his remaining term until December 31—he did not give a reason for his decision. Times Record News
- ➤ U.S. Navy performers visited Wichita Falls today as part of Navy Week when the Navy Band Southwest Brass Quintet & the Navy Ceremonial Guard Drill Team presented a live show, engaging local residents with military traditions. The event is one of several planned to honor military service and strengthen community ties. Times Record News
