- ➤ Dulce Delight Antojitos Landa opened Tuesday at 3115 Kemp Blvd. in Wichita Falls to serve Mexican-style desserts, snacks and appetizers — family co-owners Hector, Leslie and Lorena Landa said they are excited to welcome locals. The snack bar operates from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday and is closed on Monday. Times Record News
- ➤ Wichita Falls entrepreneur Ernest Terry turned his backyard hobby into Model A Raw Honey, a growing business now named a top five finalist in the Idea WF competition; if he wins, he will use the funding to buy larger equipment and process his honey at home (the luncheon is set for Oct. 15). - ➤ Today, a Wichita Falls group is looking to buy the old Fain Presbyterian Church building to make it a Christian school. The group needs $7.9 million to fix up the 31,000-square-foot property on Speedway Ave owned by Mike Shallenberger—school president Blaine Barton said a final decision will come in the next couple of weeks as fundraising and city council work continue.
