Smith’s Gardentown opened its annual pumpkin patch in Wichita Falls with hundreds of pumpkins, including over 100 varieties, and offers fun family activities such as bounce houses, playgrounds, and a pallet maze—an event open for free.

The patch runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Pastor and author Jeremy Farley brings Texas history to life in his book The Gospel According to Texas, which topped Amazon's bestseller list and is now at the Stockyards Museum—his work tells a story of oil, conquest, sin and family that shows how early settlers formed the state.

MSU Texas Theatre will perform Schoolhouse Rock Live! later this season showcasing classic musical routines and nostalgic schoolhouse themes—additional details on dates and ticket pricing will be announced soon.

The event aims to bring a fresh take on a beloved performance tradition.

GasBuddy reported that the average gasoline price in Texas dropped 4.6 cents per gallon last week to $2.66 today—prices are 12.3 cents lower than a month ago and 2.4 cents lower than last year.
