- ➤ Local owners Jennifer McFarland and her husband will open the Peach Cobbler Factory at 4111 Southwest Parkway in Wichita Falls in January — the shop will serve cobblers, ice cream, banana pudding, cinnamon rolls, churros and shakes with a soft opening followed by a grand opening. - ➤ MSU-Burns Fantasy of Lights will begin on Nov 24 when MSU Texas President Stacia Haynie flips the switch after 6 p.m. to light the Hardin Administration Building lawn — a tradition that includes carillon music by Jim Quashnock, Santa Claus for photos until 8 p.m., and free admission with donations welcomed.
