- ➤ Wichita Falls Parks & Recreation announced that Christmas in the Park with Santa will take place Dec. 6 from 12:50 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Scotland Park Elementary School gym at 1415 N. 5th St.—the event will offer a candy cane scramble for ages 2 to 8, train rides, clowns, balloon art, carnival games, crafts and visits with Santa, all free to attend.
