- ➤ The Wichita County Child Welfare Board will host its Christmas Gift Distribution today from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at First Christian Church on Taft Boulevard, giving foster children holiday presents through community donations. News Channel 6

- ➤ The Wichita Falls Fire and Police Museum is running out of space for its 35-year collection of artifacts and is asking locals for help. President Brad Corley said the museum now must turn down new donations + preserve its history due to limited room. News Channel 6

- ➤ A rare bongo antelope calf was born using a complex surrogacy process on Oct. 12 to support wildlife preservation in Texas, explained Dr. Britnni East of Exotic Wildlife Veterinary Services. The breakthrough may pave the way for new reproductive strategies for endangered species. News Channel 6
