The donation included more than $102,000 awarded to 11 volunteer fire departments for necessary equipment and a new memorial fund granting $35,000 to 12 local youth organizations.

The Deep End, a popular arcade bar (family-friendly with arcade games), will close in 2026 as co-owner Jason Hester shifts focus to his family.
