ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A Dumas woman, Madeleine Blanco-Garcia, died when the 2015 Ford Edge she was riding in veered off U.S. Highway 287 nearly 8 miles west of Wichita Falls on Wednesday night around 8:25 p.m.—the accident occurred when the vehicle struck equipment on an unoccupied Kenworth truck and officers closed the highway while working the wreck. - ➤ Final Touch Tattoo is addressing concerns about its planned tattoo shop at Sheppard Air Force Base by saying that the base's contracting officer reached out to several shops before the company posted a job ad—hoping to offer part-time work. The company noted that four local artists and shops objected and said it will open the new location in mid-September while remaining open to further dialogue. News Channel 6
